Service FAQ

How we work with you

Common questions about trading, terms and engagement. Anything specific to your shipment is best answered directly by our team.

Do you trade as a principal or as an agent?

Both, depending on what suits the deal. On many transactions we buy and sell as principal, taking title to the goods. On others — particularly cross-trade and local-to-local — we act as intermediary on an agency or commission basis. We will be clear about our role on every enquiry.

Which Incoterms do you work with?

We quote on EXW, FOB, CFR, CIF and FAS terms as required, and can advise which makes most sense for your route and risk appetite. Pricing, documentation and insurance responsibilities are confirmed in writing before any commitment.

Can you handle import documentation and customs clearance?

Yes. For import into South Africa we manage import documentation, phytosanitary certificates and customs clearance. For export and cross-trade we coordinate origin documentation, certificates of origin and the paperwork your destination market requires.

How do payment and trade finance work?

Terms are agreed per transaction and can include multi-currency arrangements for cross-border deals. We will set out payment terms clearly at the quotation stage. For your security, we never request sensitive financial credentials by email.

Can you process or re-pack to our specification?

Yes. Through our South African operations and approved partners we clean, sort, grade, blanch, roast, shell and re-pack — from bulk export sacks to wholesale cartons — with every batch checked against agreed specs before dispatch.

What is the best way to get a firm quote?

Send us the product, grade, volume, destination and preferred Incoterms via our contact form. We respond to all enquiries within one business day with firm pricing and an indicative dispatch window.
